Château Clinet

Château Clinet ligger på Pomerol-plateauets højeste punkt og dermed på Grand Terroir – det bedste af det bedste i Pomerol. Slottets historie er diffus, men kan spores tilbage til begyndelsen af 1800-tallet. Kvaliteten har ligeledes været svingende over årene, men slottet regnes i dag for at producere noget af det bedste Pomerol-vin – hvis ikke dét bedste.

Der produceres vin på 9 ha, hvilket giver et årligt udbytte på ca. 36.000 flasker af 1. vinen Château Clinet og ca. 6.000 flasker af 2. vinen Fleur de Clinet.
Slottet står også bag RONAN by Clinet, der fremstilles i både rød og hvid: 
"Branded under the Bordeaux appellation, RONAN by Clinet is a vision of a new Bordeaux genre crafted by the team from Château Clinet in our new, state-of-the art winery located in the heart of Pomerol".
